November 17, 2011
14 mins

Hugh Mckay, leading psychologist, social researcher, commentator and novelist; presenting at the Creative Innovation Conference 2011 about ‘the desires that drive us to connect’.

Drawing on some of the themes of his new book, Hugh deals with the three dimensions of “connection”:
1. With each other 2. With ourselves
3. With the natural world

He also touches on the potential for new ICT to enrich/augment the first dimension, and its failure to offer us any help with the second and third.
